Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Include, but not limited to:
o Provide back up to other OA2s within PSES Safety Departments statewide. o Assist in the filing of statewide ITM reports. o Provide back up for the statewide PSES invoice filing and tracking system. o Manage and process the Identification Card system for various districts within OPWDD. o Answer questions for and provide information to various parties regarding agency activities, transactions and procedures. o Operate various communication systems such as telephones and computers, and keep records of such communications. o Answer phones, develop and complete forms, assist customers, create or assist in the preparation of reports, charts, and other related activities. o Maintain, update and correct records and files. o File, update and complete work order submissions o Receive, screen and review various documents and/or forms. o Establish new files by coding and numbering forms, creating folders and compiling relevant material. o Take notes and write up the meeting minutes, from any meeting, as needed. o Maintain various listings for Staffing purposes. o Maintaining records of all Safety Officers and notifying them when Training is needed. o Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range:
From $40193 to $49405 Annually
Minimum Qualification
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
o Ability to work effectively with the Department. o Ability to work independently. o Previous experience in duties referenced above. o Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner both verbally and in writing. o Strong background in applicable software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel and agency databases. o Reliability as evidenced by a review of time and attendance records. Transfer Qualifications Any permanent Office Assistant 2 (Keyboarding) OR Any person eligible for 70.1 transfer. Promotional Opportunities:

Qualifications:
Either A. a Law Department Document Specialist Trainee 1, Law Department Document Specialist Trainee 2, Office Assistant 1-Keyboarding, Office Assistant 1-Keyboarding (Chinese Language) or Office Assistant 1-Keyboarding (Spanish Language). Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
